When BTW Atlanta a joint venture of BTW - China & ATLANTA Transformers India decided
to put up a greenfield transformers manufacturing unit in Gujarat they appointed Shah & Talati for its design.
Designed as a repair facility with provisions of expansion upto 400 kv transformer manufacturing in future. The design brief was that factory facade should be consistent with their other facilities in China. The constructed area of the production facility & utilities is about 14300 sqm and admin / canteen block area is 1400 sqm. The assembly unit is having a 250 ton crane at 25 m hook height and 50 ton crane at 20 m hook height. Shah & Talati provided architectural, civil & structural, electrical, HVAC, fire fighting related design services. In addition to this Shah & Talati was responsible for office interior design.
During the construction of the plant Shah & Talati provided supervision services for implementing specifications and drawings on site. One more addition to our long list of projects and we continue to have a very strong profile in manufacturing units having high capacity cranes and dust free environment for production.
